Character files- Will Graham
“Will Graham is the FBI’s finest profiler - he can enter a killer’s mind in a way no one ever has. It is this gift that brings Will ever closer to the edge, to that fine line that separates madness from reality. Will needs someone who can bring balance to an often unbalanced mind”

These marine crustaceans may be well-known for their record breaking punch (the same acceleration as a .22 calibre bullet), but they also hold the world record for the most complex visual system.
Mantis Shrimp have up to 16 photoreceptors and can see UV, visible and polarised light. In fact, they are the only animals known to detect circularly polarised light, which is when the wave component of light rotates in a circular motion. They also can perceive depth with one eye and move each eye independently. The story of these marine ninjas gets even more interesting with the discovery that they use a biological sunscreen to tune UV vision.
